History

Moscow’s railway stations have not always gone by their familiar names. This was originally Bryansky Station, serving the line to Kaluga and Bryansk. The present complex was built between 1914 and 1918. Its architects placed a tall clock tower to one side of the main building. The name Kiyevsky came later.
