Getting there

From the main entrance, go back along Lavrushinsky Lane to Bolshoy Tolmachyovsky Lane. Explore the garden on the corner without stepping into the road.

There is a place to sit in the garden, with an art history lesson right out on the street.

History

A small open-air exhibition appeared in the neighbouring garden for the Tretyakov Gallery’s 150th anniversary. A metal tree rises from a granite basin, surrounded by frames holding reliefs. The fountain opened in 2006. When the water is turned off, you can still explore it as a piece of sculpture.
